Thank you for your interest in Stone Creek School! As you visit our website, we hope that you are learning how we are providing a unique and revolutionary choice for the parents of Eagle County. Here, we aim to cover any general questions you might have about our school.
What is a Charter School?
A charter school is a public school operated by a group of parents, teachers, and/or community members as a semi-autonomous school of choice within a school district, operating under a charter contract between the members of the charter school community and the local board of education or Colorado Charter School Institute. The Charter School Institute was formed by the Colorado General Assembly as a way for communities to make education more flexible, innovative and responsive to the needs of all.
What Grades Does Stone Creek Serve?
Stone Creek serves students grades K through 8.
Kindergarten at Stone Creek is offered as a full-day program. Like all public schools in Colorado, parents must pay tuition for the program. This amount can be paid through our online Store, where you also have the option to have tuition automatically deducted from the bank account of your choice.
All grades and all campuses have the same hours.
Classes are in session from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We dismiss at 12:30 PM on Friday afternoons.
Our School Calendar is similar to Eagle County School District.
Students are required to follow Stone Creek's dress code. See Policies for details.
