Board Committees

There are currently seven Board Committees addressing important issues at the school. Join one of these groups to help establish the foundations of Stone Creek!

Governance - Ron Wolfe, Chairperson 
The Governance Committee is working on Policies that impact students, families, the Board and the overall operations of the school. This Committee also oversees Surveys that take place at the school to solicit input and feedback from parents, students and the staff. Communications and Outreach (C &O) - Cynthia Forstmann, Chairperson
The C & O Committee works to tell a compelling and consistent story about Stone Creek Charter School. Target groups including the school community, potential students, the media, educational organizations, Eagle County and Colorado. Committee responsibilities include: Branding, Newsletters, Website, Advertising, PR, Outreach and Open Houses. Facilities - Russell Molina, Chairperson
The Facilities Committee deals with the physical school structure as well as finding a permanent location for Stone Creek Charter. Finance and Grants - Russell Molina, Chairperson
The Finance and Grants Committee is repsonsible for the operating budget of the school, as well as identifying grant opportunities. That role includes developing the operating budget and the accounting against the budget. Finance also participates in any discussions that impact our overall financial picture. Fund Development - Eric Lyon, Chairperson
Fund Development is a vital activity at Stone Creek Charter School. Fundraising bridges the shortfalls frp, funding received from the State to cover operations and programs and to put dollars towards our future school site and faciltiy. Human Resources - John Goldstein, Chairperson
Staffing, payroll, benefits administration, insurance, contracts, PERA, and more are managed by the Human Resource Committee. Anyone with a background in human resources, employment law, or management is strongly encouraged to become involved. To learn more about the Human Resources Committee, contact John Goldstein.

Technology - Dave Petrowski, Chairperson
Establishing a roadmap for Technology is key to our success as a school, as well as the success of our students. The Technology Committee handles operational IT issues -- such as our network, Internet connectivity, computers, and compliance.
