Board Committees

There are currently six Board Committees addressing important issues at the school. Join one of these groups to help establish the foundations of Stone Creek!

Governance and Community Relations - Ron Wolfe, Mike Rindone Co-Chairpersons 
The Governance and Community Relations Committee is working on Policies that impact students, families, the Board and the overall operations of the school. This Committee also oversees Surveys that take place at the school to solicit input and feedback from parents, students and the staff. Communications and Public Relations - Mitzi Forrester, Chairperson
The Communications and Public Relations Committee works to tell a compelling and consistent story about Stone Creek Charter School.  Committee responsibilities include: Branding, Newsletters, Website, Advertising, PR, Outreach and Open Houses. Finance - Susan Tulk, Mark Wilson, Co-Chairpersons
The Finance Committee is repsonsible for the operating budget of the school. That role includes developing the operating budget and the accounting against the budget. Recruitment/Re-Enrollment and Outreach - Marisa Schifanelli, Eric Lyon, Chairperson
The Recruitment and Outreach Committee targets groups including the school community, potential students, the media, educational organizations, in order to continually build our student base. Accountability and Human Resources - Kevin Kromer , Chairperson
Calendar, school improvements, curriculumStaffing, payroll, benefits administration, insurance, contracts, PERA, and more are managed by the Accountability and  Human Resource Committee. Anyone with a background in human resources, employment law, or management is strongly encouraged to become involved. To learn more about the Human Resources Committee, contact Kevin Kromer.

Grants -Tammy Humphries , Chairperson
