Board of Directors
The Stone Creek Charter School Board of Directors is a cohesive group of dedicated parents and community members who are devoted to serving the children, families and faculty of Stone Creek Charter School. Each member contributes important professional and personal experience in order to achieve the schools mission and vision.
Elections are held annually in October and members serve three-year terms. Regular Board Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM at the school. Other special meetings and Executive Sessions are announced.
Mike Rindone, President
Mike Rindone, originally from Troy, NY, started a diagnostic company in 1997 and was President of the company until 2008. The company is now called Diagnostic Professionals in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, perform MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, X-ray and Dexa Scan procedures. He recently purchased a Medical Practice in Fort Lauderdale called John J. Madonna DO which includes a office practice, nursing homes and inpatient practice. Mike and his wife have a 7-year old son attending 2nd grade at SCCS. They also has a 4-year old daughter.
John Goldstein, Vice President
John lives in Vail with his wife Lisa and his teenage son. He is a semi-retired entrepreneur that co-founded a venture capital start up in the Insurance processing space. In 2004 he sold the business to the global private equity fund, Advent International. Shortly thereafter John relocated to Vail and currently consults, serves on several boards, and stays active skiing, biking and doing volunteer work.
Russell Molina, Treasurer
Russell S. Molina - Owner of Custom Rubber Products (“CRP”), located in Houston Texas. CRP is a privately held rubber and thermoset plastics for original equipment manufacturers in the oil field service industry. Prior to CRP, Mr. Molina was President of Woodco Fund Management, Inc. (WFM). WFM is a Houston based investment management company that manages funds for European clients in various types of investments in the United States. Mr. Molina has served in many capacities for companies in which an investment was maintained, including but not limited to: an officer, a director, and consultant.
Ron Wolfe, Secretary
Ron and his wife Valerie live in Avon as do their son, daughter-in-law and two young grandsons. Ron is a retired engineer and former corporate officer and currently is the Mayor of Avon.
Jen Gutman, Teacher Representative
Jen Gutmann has lived in Eagle County for 10 years. She and her husband Thomas have a one-year old son. Jen has served in the education field as a teacher’s aide, substitute teacher, and 5th grade teacher. Currently working toward her Master’s Degree in Administration & Supervision, Jen’s next goal is to become a principal. High expectations, consistent communication, and data-driven instruction define Jen Gutmann as an educator.
Eric Lyon
Owner and managing broker of a real estate firm in Vail for 15 years, Eric handles the marketing and sales of both fractional and whole ownership. His most recent employers are Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch and Vail Plaza Hotel & Club, Vail. He and his wife Dallas Lyon (owner of Lyon Design Group, Interior Design Vail) are the proud parents of one daughter, a 2nd grader at Stone Creek.

Karen Eyrich
Karen Eyrich, originally from Pennsylvania, moved to the Vail area about 30 years ago. She currently lives in Eagle-Vail with her husband Phil and their four children: Parker, a freshman at Mesa State College, Wilhelm, a senior at Vail Christian High School, Emily, a sophomore at Battle Mountain, and Henry, 6th grade at Stone Creek School. She has worked at Firstbank of Vail for the past 25 years. Karen loves to be on the internet doing family history research and digital scrapbooking. When she finally retires and moves to a nice vacation spot, the main requirement will be to have high speed internet.
