Board of Directors
The Stone Creek Charter School Board of Directors is a cohesive group of dedicated parents and community members who are devoted to serving the children, families and faculty of Stone Creek Charter School. Each member contributes important professional and personal experience in order to achieve the schools mission and vision.
Elections are held annually in October and members serve three-year terms. Regular Board Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM at the school. Other special meetings and Executive Sessions are announced.
Yvonne Dodds
Yvonne grew up in Denver & attended Brigham Young University (undergrad - communications & advertising) and the University of Denver (grad - marketing). She is married to Brandon Dodds and together they have 2 daughters (Dylan, 3rd & Drew, 1st). The Dodds also own & operate "The Computer Guy". Yvonne has worked in real estate & property management in the Vail Valley since 1998. She has also been a victim's advocate, volunteer coordinator & legal advocate for The Resource Center of Eagle County - now currently The Bright Future Foundation. Yvonne served on the Board of Directors for Sunshine Mountain Preschool for many years. She also established what has become known as the "Pumpkin Patch at Eagle Ranch" in October 2004, which still carries on today as a fundraiser for Sunshine Mountain Preschool and other local children's non-profit organizations.
Mitzi Forrester
Mitzi worked for many years in sales & marketing with Marriott Hotels and Resorts. She and her husband have two sons attending Stone Creek School in 3rd & 4th grade.
Glenn Heelan
Glenn currently serves as the Managing Member of Morningstar Mountain Properties, a company he founded to manage the acquisition & management of his various business interests. For over 40 years Glenn has been active in the formation, management & disposition of various real estate, hospitality & financing businesses in Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, Colorado Springs, Denver & the Vail Valley. He holds a BBA with emphasis in finance and has many advanced industry related licenses, designations & awards. Glenn has served on the boards of many professional & non-profit associations & currently serves on the boards of The 4 Eagle Foundation Inc. & Stone Creek Charter School.
Tammy Humphries, President
Tammy is a native of northeastern Colorado. She moved to the Vail Valley almost 11 years ago. She is a pharmacist & currently works as a consultant providing Medication Therapy Management to Medicare members. She has extensive experience in pharmacy research. Tammy and her husband have two children attending Stone Creek School. For fun, she likes spending time with family, trail running, mountain biking, and snowboarding.
Kevin Kromer, Vice President
Kevin is the former Board President of Stone Creek School and a founding parent. He and his family are long time residents of the Vail Valley.
Marisa Schifanelli, Secretary
Marisa has a Masters Degree in Social Work from the Adelphi University. She, along with her husband, are the owner/operators of Vail Window Washers. Marisa has a son and daughter attending Stone Creek School.
Susan Tulk, Treasurer
Susan, originally from Atlanta, has been a Valley local since 1990. She has served as Treasurer & Controller of Charter Sports, Controller of Garfinkel's, and owner/operator of Beancounters bookkeeping service. Susan is currently a bookkeeper at Novosad, Lyle & Associates in Avon. She is married to Brooke and they have one son attending Stone Creek School.

Ron Wolfe
Ron and his wife Valerie are long time residents of the Vail Valley as are their son, daughter-in-law and two young grandsons. Ron is a retired engineer, former corporate officer and the former Mayor of Avon.
