Board of Directors

The Stone Creek Charter School Board of Directors is a cohesive group of dedicated parents and community members who are devoted to serving the children, families and faculty of Stone Creek Charter School. Each member contributes important professional and personal experience in order to achieve the schools mission and vision.

Elections are held annually in October and members serve three-year terms. Regular Board Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM at the school. Other special meetings and Executive Sessions are announced.  

Ron Wolfe, President
Ron and his wife Valerie are long time resisdents of the Vail Valley as are their son, daughter-in-law and two young grandsons. Ron is a retired engineer and former corporate officer and is the former Mayor of Avon.

Mike Rindone, Vice president
Mike Rindone, originally from Troy, NY, started a diagnostic company in 1997 and was President of the company until 2008. The company is now called Diagnostic Professionals in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, perform MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, X-ray and Dexa Scan procedures. He recently purchased a Medical Practice in Fort Lauderdale called John J. Madonna DO which includes a office practice, nursing homes and inpatient practice. He recently opened the Belmont Deli in Edwards. Mike and his wife have a 9-year old son attending 4th grade at SCCS. They also has a 5- year old daughter attending 1st grade at SCCS. 

Eric Lyon, Recruitment/Re-Enrollment
Owner and managing broker of a real estate firm in Vail for 15 years, Eric handles the marketing and sales of both fractional and whole ownership. His most recent employers are Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch and Vail Plaza Hotel & Club, Vail. He and his wife Dallas Lyon (owner of Lyon Design Group, Interior Design Vail) are the proud parents of one daughter, a 4th grader at Stone Creek.   

Mark Wilson, Finance
Mark is the controller at the Ace Hardware located in Vail.  He has a son in the 4th grade at Stone Creek Charter School.

Marisa Schifanelli, Recruitment/Re-Enrollment
Marisa has a Masters in Social Work from the Adelphi University. She along with her husband are the owner/operator of Vail Window Washers. She has a son that attends 1st grade at Stone Creek Charter School as well as a daughter in 3rd grade.

Mitzi Forrester, Communications/Public Relations
Mitzi worked for many years in sales and marketing with Marriott Hotels and Resorts.  Her and her husband have two sons that attend Stone Creek Charter School in 2nd and 3rd grade.

Kevin Kromer, Accountability
Kevin is the former Board President of Stone Creek Charter School and founding parent.  Him and his family are long time residents of the Vail Valley.

Tammy Humphries, Grants
Tammy is a native of northeastern Colorado.  She moved to the Vail Valley almost 11 years ago. She is a pharmacist and currently works as a consultant providing Medication Therapy Management to Medicare members.  She has extensive experience in pharmacy research. She and her husban  have 2 children attending Stone Creek Charter School.  For fun, she likes spending time with family, trail running, mountain biking, and snowboarding.

Susan Tulk, Finance
Susan, originally from Atlanta, has been a Valley local since 1990.  She has served as Treasurer & controller of Charter Sports, controller of Garfinkel’s, and owner/operator of Beancounters bookkeeping service.  Susan is currently a bookkeeper at Novosad, Lyle & Associates.  She is married to Brooke & they have one son, Wyatt.
