General Information
Thank you for your interest in Stone Creek School! As you visit our website, we hope that you are learning how we are providing a unique and revolutionary choice for the parents of Eagle County. In this section of the website, we aim to cover any general questions you might have about our school.
What is a Charter School?
A charter school is a public school operated by a group of parents, teachers, and/or community members as a semi-autonomous school of choice within a school district, operating under a charter contract between the members of the charter school community and the local board of education or Colorado Charter School Institute. The Charter School Institute was formed by the Colorado General Assembly as a way for communities to make education more flexible, innovative and responsive to the needs of all.
