- Bachelor of Arts from Providence College with a Double Certification in Elementary and Special Education
Experience:
- Fifth year teaching 2nd grade at Stone Creek Charter.
- Previously, taught 2nd, 3rd and Special Education in the Eagle County School District for 5 years.
Strengths:
Motivating students, enthusiasm, communication with parents, caring and compassionate. My goal is to create an open and honest classroom where students feel successful.
Personal:
I grew up on the East coast in New Hampshire and spent my summers on Martha’s Vineyard. I try to get back there every summer to be near the water! I am the oldest of four children with a younger sister who will graduate from high school and a brother who will graduate from college! My other sister lives close to home and had her first baby this past October.
I have lived in the Valley for 12 years and have spent the beginning of my time here as a children’s ski instructor. I love to work with children and I find it one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.
I am a very active person and enjoy doing anything outdoors. I am currently training for my first half marathon.
I am married to Sid, who shares the same passion for the mountains and water that I do. He works on Vail as a ski patroller and in the summer, he is guiding people down the river as a raft guide. I have known him since I was four years old!
I have two children, my daughter Ella is five and will be beginning kindergarten at Stone Creek this fall. My son Sidney will be two in August. They are the joy of my life, I love to watch them grow and learn every day.
Passion / Interests:
Traveling, outdoors, reading, hiking, snowshoeing, cooking, tennis and spending time with family.

To enforce SCCS’s vision of exciting each child’s spirit, developing their mind, and empowering them to believe they may truly change the world. Each child should be given the opportunity to learn, when they have the tools, their choices and potential are endless.
